The Trestle is a stunning kitchen dining table featuring an industrial box steel base, available in all sizes — from small 2-seater bench sets for compact kitchens, to 12-seater tables perfect for large open-plan dining spaces.
Handmade in our Devonshire workshop, these solid wood table tops are crafted from reclaimed mature wood sourced from abandoned mills, churches, and industrial buildings across the UK. Each top is 3.5cm thick, carefully sanded, and finished to showcase the wood’s natural patina, marks, and nail holes — impossible to replicate in mass-produced dining room furniture.
For a dining table with bench, select your table size, add it to your basket, then choose the bench size and add it as well. The result is a complete table and bench arrangement, ideal for creating a welcoming dining experience.
The Trestle pairs beautifully with dining chairs, or can be combined with multiple dining benches to suit your space. Its robust box steel base ensures stability and makes a bold statement in your dining room sets.
Whether it’s a family roast dinner or a quiet meal for two, this dining set is perfect for every occasion.

Assembly: The top and base come flat-packed for easy delivery. Assembly is simple with just 2 bolts and a few screws. The wood is finished with oil and wax, durable and easy to maintain. Welds remain visible for authenticity, and the reclaimed rustic wood preserves natural dents, marks, and scars, giving every piece unique charm.
As always, handmade with love in Britain, each table contributes to a greener choice by repurposing reclaimed wood, saving trees, and protecting habitats.

Are all of your dining tables made from solid wood?
Yes, all of our Furniture is handmade using solid reclaimed wood, which ensures a beautiful patina and exceptional durability.
Can I customise the size of my dining table?
Yes, as we made everything to order, you can specify the exact size of dining table and bench to suit your space. Just let us know the sizes you require in the live chat or contact us via email and we will be happy to help.
How long does it take to receive my dining table?
As all of our products are made to order, there is a lead time which varies from product to product. On average our lead time is about 4 weeks, however for more accurate estimates, please see the Delivery times under the prices at the top of the page.
If I order a Dining table and bench, can I have the bench fit underneath?
Yes, absolutely. With most of our dining tables you need to order a bench that is at least 20cm shorter than the dinng table itself for it to fit underneath for space saving. There are a few exceptions to this, so please check the dimensions at the top of the page to make sure.
What finishes do you offer?

Lovely table, great quality for the price really reasonable! The only thing we found was the website was hard to navigate the ordering system was a nightmare but that maybe me being a bit dizzy we had to email a few times to amend order as we had selected longer benches than the table etc then I'd chose different colour benches to table by accident thankfully they replied to my messages really quickly and resolved it too!

A nice piece of post-industrial chic which looks and feels just as advertised on the website -- for those who like things solid, this is an impressively heavy piece of furniture which would comfortably double as a bomb shelter. It would have been five stars but for an avoidable confusion over delivery times, but when it finally arrived it did so safely and efficiently.
