I ordered smaller shlelfa so the screws (which are very long and heavy duty) maybe a bit overkill
wow wow wow, I cannot express how much I love this dining table. It was easy to put together, nothing too complicated. My husband managed to get it complete in about 5 mins. I went to make a cup of tea and when I came back it was done! I adore everything about it, the wood grain, the patina, how it adds character and its so solid and sturdy, you can tell its going to last for many years. It was a toss up between this one and a vintage table, however the vintage table I liked wasnt the right size, and Shabby Bear Cottage were happy to change the size for me to fit my kitchen perfectly. What an absolutely stunning dining table, its so much better in person than the photographs. I had been looking for a rustic dining table for a long time, and when I saw this I knew it was perfect for my dining room. Our farmhouse has been a very long project, so I wanted to get the right table for the space. Shabby Bear Cottage were very helpful answering my questions on live chat. The solid wood is fantastic, it has so much depth and you can see all of the character. Amazing.

We are really pleased with our purchase. It has been very well made and looks great in the kitchen. We were limited in terms of cupboard space but this butchers block provides 3 spacious shelves - ideal.

Using the table you can see the craftsmanship all over. Interesting knots and lines have been enhanced instead of sanded out which makes it so nice to sit and look at while eating. I really appreciate this in a world of mass produced everything.
I adore shabby bear, their customer service is second to none and it reminds me of John Lewis customer service from back in the day. They went above and beyond with a bespoke size and even drew out a sketch to ensure I was happy with the design before proceeding. I would give 100 stars if I could.

Handy seating guide so I knew what size we needed, opted for the 6 seater and the info graphic was bang on. Just enough room for 6 people and fits perfectly in the kitchen. Nice that it arrives assembled and the delivery company were good too

I needed something for my kitchen that wasn’t too clinical, and everything I had looked at was so cheap or mass produced. Arrived quickly, and I love that it’s handmade and you can see how strong it is. I know this will last for many years.

I have bought from shabby bear a few times now for my holiday cottages, and every time our experience is great. You get clear expectations of what it will look like, when it will arrive, and the courier gives you a time slot and sticks to it. The delivery guys have been helpful everytime, it makes the whole process so much smoother.
What I particularly like about the antique oak finish is how easy it is to keep it looking its best, having guests in our cottages means we need to be able to bring it back to its best easily - the antique oak is a wax that we can apply over any scuffs and it comes back to new again. It works well for marks left by the grandchildren too.
10/10, and I’m sure we will be back again soon.
As I’m not particularly into assembling things, I asked Shabby Bear Cottage if I could have it fully assembled. I paid a little extra for this and honestly it made the whole experience so much better, I just unwrapped it and it was ready to go! It’s beautiful, honestly I wasn’t expecting it to look this good but I am in love with my new furniture!

Great company to purchase from. I ordered the 180cm size with 2 benches to match and they’re perfect. Arrived on time, the delivery was excellent and they were so helpful in answering my questions. The Antique Oak is pure perfection and matches with most things, and has brought so much warmth into my dining space.
