The Trestle is a beautiful kitchen table with an Industrial box steel base which comes in all sizes, from small 2 seater space saving kitchen table sets, to 12 seater tables for a large open plan kitchen diner.
These solid wood kitchen tables have been carefully handmade in our Devonshire workshop, using only the finest materials.
Please note - To create a set, please select what size bench you require from the drop down menu and add to your basket alongside your chosen table size. Chairs and other décor items are not included.
The solid wood top of the trestle kitchen table is extremely heavy and is made from near 2 inch thick reclaimed mature wood sourced from abandoned mills, churches, and industrial buildings right here in the UK. We have meticulously sanded and finished the rustic chunky antique wood, flaunting all of it's patina and charm, whilst leaving it smooth to the touch. Nail holes, scars, and dents have been revealed under a new light, which is impossible to reproduce in cheaply made, mass-produced furniture, especially kitchen tables. The extremely unique, robust and heavy base is made from box steel, giving a true statement shape and feel to the table.
A perfect place to celebrate with a roast dinner with all the family, or to just sit down to a quiet meal for two on a relaxing evening.

Kitchen Table Dimensions:
As all of our Kitchen tables are made to order, you can specify the size you would like. If you have a size in mind, but don't see it here, just pop us a message and we will be happy to help.
Length: 100cm - 250cm
Width: 66cm, 88cm or 110cm
Height: 76cm
Please note: Benches are not included unless selected from the drop down menu, Chairs and other decor items are not included.
Assembly: The top and base are flat packed for manoeuvrability, however its very easy to put together. Just 2 bolts and a few screws to screw the top to the base.
Our wood is finished with an oil and wax, which is durable and easily fixed should it encounter a glass of red wine (spilled expertly of course!). Our welds will stand proudly on show (not ground back and hidden) and the wood will have the most beautiful flaws, such as dents, holes, marks, stains, and scars. We don't sand the underside of our pieces, and leave the reclaimed rustic wood in its raw state, it will be rough to the touch and treated with a simple oil so that everyone can embrace its fantastic transformation!
As always, all of our pieces are of charm and patina, they are irreplaceable and timeless in style and all carry with them a story. As our wood is reclaimed, it is the green option. With each piece we make, we are saving one tree at a time, saving countless habitats and keeping animals in their homes where they belong.

Are all of your dining tables made from solid wood?
Yes, all of our Furniture is handmade using solid reclaimed wood, which ensures a beautiful patina and exceptional durability.
Can I customise the size of my dining table?
Yes, as we made everything to order, you can specify the exact size of dining table and bench to suit your space. Just let us know the sizes you require in the live chat or contact us via email and we will be happy to help.
How long does it take to receive my dining table?
As all of our products are made to order, there is a lead time which varies from product to product. On average our lead time is about 4 weeks, however for more accurate estimates, please see the Delivery times under the prices at the top of the page.
If I order a Dining table and bench, can I have the bench fit underneath?
Yes, absolutely. With most of our dining tables you need to order a bench that is at least 20cm shorter than the dinng table itself for it to fit underneath for space saving. There are a few exceptions to this, so please check the dimensions at the top of the page to make sure.
What finishes do you offer?

Lovely table, great quality for the price really reasonable! The only thing we found was the website was hard to navigate the ordering system was a nightmare but that maybe me being a bit dizzy we had to email a few times to amend order as we had selected longer benches than the table etc then I'd chose different colour benches to table by accident thankfully they replied to my messages really quickly and resolved it too!

A nice piece of post-industrial chic which looks and feels just as advertised on the website -- for those who like things solid, this is an impressively heavy piece of furniture which would comfortably double as a bomb shelter. It would have been five stars but for an avoidable confusion over delivery times, but when it finally arrived it did so safely and efficiently.
